Borrego & Bendel Corporation, born out of a simple observation during a routine drive in August of 2020, has now evolved into ATLAS Traffic Technologies. Founded by CEO Nick Borrego and his close friend Conley Bendel, the organization was originally established to address pressing global issues in transportation.
In 2024, Borrego & Bendel Corporation was reincorporated into ATLAS Traffic Technologies, marking a new chapter in our journey. With our headquarters now based in Denver, Colorado, we continue to build upon our legacy of innovation and commitment to revolutionizing transportation.
Our story began with a recognition of the challenges facing modern transportation systems: safety concerns, inefficiencies, high costs, and inaccurate data. Motivated by personal experiences and a desire to effect change, we set out to transform the way we navigate our world.
Driven by a personal encounter with the devastating consequences of red light running in Lone Tree, Colorado, where Nick nearly lost his father and stepmother, a promise was made to the world. Borrego & Bendel was founded on the principles of saving lives, optimizing time and resources, and shaping the future of transportation through accurate data and innovative solutions.
Today, as ATLAS Traffic Technologies, our mission remains unchanged. Through relentless dedication to safety, efficiency, and data-driven insights, we strive to empower communities and pave the way for a brighter, safer, and more connected future.
